<strong>10:00 breakfast at Perkins </strong>- designed for fat Americans &#8211; I sort of fit in. I had a 3-egg ham, cheese and veggie omelette with three pancakes (I skipped the hasbrowns &#8211; c&#8217;mon that deserves some kindof redemption!). This is way too much food and I wanted to sleep on the ride home. Alex was happy. <img src='http://s0.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>2:30 pm run on the treadmill. I had little energy and motivation but completed 2.5 miles</p>

6:00 turkey burger with corn salsa and brown rice (no bun), can of gingerale<br />
7:00 chocolate chip cookie (large)<br />
9:00 2 cups of organic popcorn (from a bag)</strong></p>
<p>midnight: went to bed exhausted and realizing I ate a lot of sugar today and not much protein or veggies.</p>

</strong><br />
<strong>10:40 small packet of Minstrels</strong> (chocolate candy) from the hospital gift store &#8211; these are my absolute favourite treat from England. It was impossible not to buy them and enjoy them.</p>
<p><strong>12:30 Bison burger on gluten free bun (I left half the bun) with potato wedges, salad, iced tea (at The Beet)</strong></p>
<p><strong>7:00 2 eggs, 2 bacon slices, sausage, tomato, 1/2 piece of whole wheat toast with strawberry jam, 6 fries, glass of Coke (Brazenhead)</strong></p>
<p><strong>9:00 handful of kettle chips</strong></p>
<p>Things I avoided:<br />
- Cranberry bliss bar from starbuck&#8217;s (I was eyeing in line).<br />
- Buying the entire gift box of chocolate at the gift store because it included a package of Minstrels. <img src='http://s0.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /><br />
- Eating my entire plate of fries at the pub.<br />
- Ice cream on the way home from the pub &#8211; convinced Alex to just get himself an icecream sandwich rather than an entire blizzard.</p>
<p>Oh and the diagnosis I got from my cardiologist is that I had/have an ovarian cyst or I&#8217;m pregnant. Hmmm&#8230;I&#8217;m not sure which one I should hope for. <img src='http://s0.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  Otherwise all is good with my health &#8211; aorta measurement is unchanged from last year.</p>
<p>My workout was great. We went a little lighter and I felt great all the way through it.</p>

<p>Things I avoided: free cookies in the kitchen at work, chips after I got home after a long day. I consciously had to choose not to eat them&#8230;was definitely tempted and actually had my hand going towards the cookie tin. </p>

<p>Once again I felt incredibly sick during my workout. Massive abdominal pain 30 minutes into the workout and I had to go to the washroom. From the stall I asked a very nice lady to go out and tell Phil that I wouldn&#8217;t be returning to the gym and to get me a plastic bag (I hate throwing up let alone throwing up in a public toilet). I didn&#8217;t throw up but I broke into a crazy sweat and my arms went all tingly and eventually the pain just went away. I won&#8217;t gross  you out with anymore details but I think I had better go see a doctor. Sucks to waste two workouts this week but what can I do? Let&#8217;s hope Friday is a better day. </p>
